Loving....
1. My son's 1 mile time for this year...
He ran it in 7:40 and got second place (8 seconds behind the first place kid)
Last year he ran it in 8:10 (and got first place) so he's improved a lot!
2. The awesome dinner Gene made for us tonight.
Corn on the cob, grilled steak, salad and homemade vinaigrette dressing and watermelon for dessert! Perfect!! Oh and a glass of white wine :)
3. My New Balance 890's I just got in the mail this past Tuesday.
Gotta love FREE running shoes!

What I'm not loving?
The fact that I haven't gone on a run since Saturday :(
Wasn't intentionally planned. The week just goes by so fast I feel like I blink and Friday is already here. I really need to start waking up before work to run. And if this summer is anything like last year I know I'll be happier running in the morning when it's cooler.
First step is going to bed before midnight so I won't be so tired in the morning :/
Who wants to volunteer to send me a wake up text to make sure I'm up and getting out the door for a run??

ReplyDeleteWow, good job Izaiah! Sweet- gotta love free shoes! Oh, and I wake up at 7:30 so I am guessing 8:30 is not the right time for you to be getting up to run...you need an east coast buddy to do that for you :)
